“Glory Days” by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. You probably assumed that no list like this would include a song from The Boss. I may be including it simply to prove that I don’t write fawning articles about him because I’m on his payroll (I wish), or it could be that I am just salty after seeing the prices for tickets to his upcoming European tour (a topic that may turn into a separate rant). However, even if both of those things were true, the song still belongs here. Even the Greek gods screwed up once in a while, so I haven’t lost faith; I just act like this bad song (and even worse video) just never happened, kind of like The Godfather Part III, except for one thing: “Glory Days” hit #5 on the Billboard charts; “Born to Run” only reached #23. To quote The Godfather: that I do not forgive.
