So, it is February and of course, that devious and creative writer Brett Jenae Tomlin has come up with another fun challenge to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Before I start I must admit to never being a big fan of Valentine’s Day. I am too old now, but I dreaded the day hearing about all my comrades receiving cryptic cards through the post. I have not received a valentine’s day card in my entire life. I did receive a valentine’s day telephone message once but figured that it was just probably someone taking the pee out of me.

Please don’t get the violins out. It will only make it worse!

Therefore, I am more in favour of the St Valentine’s Day massacre than all the lovely dovey fluffy stuff.

However, it is a fun challenge so why not? Before I begin it will be rude not to open with a Springsteen song. You will find there is a Springsteen song for every occasion and for each one of Brett’s writing prompts, I have challenged myself to come up with one!
