I saw this question on Twitter a while ago and was fascinated by the huge response to it and the albums put forward. For a start, the question is so personal depending on musical tastes.
Can any album be classed as perfect and because it is so subjective what do we mean by perfect? If you love every song on the album does that make it perfect or does it have to be judged by a musical expert? And what is a musical expert? Someone who has an extensive knowledge of all music genres?
At this very moment, I can sense Paul Combs jumping down my throat shouting Born To Run from the hilltops of Texas. Are there any hilltops in Texas?
Before I provide my humble opinion, what I thought I would do is summarise the albums that came up most frequently in the replies on Twitter. I am not going to review each album as firstly I am not qualified to do so on all of them and secondly that would be extremely boring. The list below is in no particular order but just the ones that came up time after time. I have kept the list down to only one artist as some of the artists below had some other albums mentioned a few times.
