Very informative and interesting Simon as per usual. It just backs up your view that to really witness the beauty of film then cinema is the only place. My first Video Recorder was a Beetamax because it was cheaper. The quality was better but had the same issues. What was also frustrating was that the choice of films was much less than VHS. Eventually when I could afford it, I switched to VHS. Now that’s quite a boring story!
