That devious, cunning but wonderful Springsteen buddy Paul Combs is at it again by throwing out an outstanding update on my previous prompt to share some time with a choice of guests. The original idea was to choose three people (one live and kicking, one no longer with us, and one fictional character to share dinner with. Paul has now taken it a step further by using the same criteria but sharing some beers in probably one of the most important abodes ever invented and that is a pub or any place where alcohol is served.

Here are Paul’s excellent choices below. Bernard Black from Black Books is an inspired choice although I am not sure what state they would both be in at the end of their encounter.
