Just when I thought that this is the year we would all get back to enjoying live music, two concerts I was looking forward to have been cancelled within the same week!

So to cheer myself up, I thought I would write another article on Springsteen. This one has been inspired yet again by Paul Combs and Pierce McIntyre.

Paul Combs writes so many fantastic articles on Springsteen and like myself and Alex Markham who also pens fabulous Boss writings, we yearn for a Springsteen tour. We are therefore inspired to keep writing about the man in the hope that we are getting close to the promised land of a tour. Pierce McIntyre wrote a great article here about songs with May in the title. This got me thinking. I challenged myself to not only list a Springsteen song from A-Z but to nominate my pick for each letter of the alphabet.

My rules were:-

  1. The song has to be written by Springsteen.
  2. It has to start with that letter (so I can’t use any song that starts with The, other than for the letter T).
  3. I can only choose one song per letter.

So, for a bit of fun and without delay, let’s see how I got on

Astarted me off with quite a few choices. I dismissed “Adam Raised a Cain” immediately…
