Thanks for the link Simon. This is so outstanding and no one could have done a better review and credit the film as much as this one. I am in full agreement with everything especially the travesty of Hopkins not winning the Oscar. I also found the film very moving. There is a scene near the end of the film where the two are on the pier and Hopkins uses his eyes to sum up how he has missed his chance. One of my favourite movie moments. Don’t know how many times I have seen it but your fantastic review has motivated me to watch it again. I so wish I could get my wife to watch but she is stubborn so I might have to try the Clockwork Orange method 😀
