Really interesting article. It is as you say, that it sometimes reveals more about the reviewer. Of course it is their right to review and give an opinion but we live in a world where people love to criticise everything. It is more likely that they don’t have an inch of your writing talent Simon. If I don’t like something I tend to not say anything especially as I don’t have the talent myself. I have only given one bad review on Amazon and it was a music DVD documentary and that was only because it was factually incorrect which I couldn’t forgive.
