Just when I had another article in mind both Pierce McIntyre and Paul Combs twisted my melons with two fantastic writing challenges. Pierce McIntyre with this one and Paul Combs with our favourite films for each year of our lives. As soon as I read the prompts any ideas and thoughts on my next piece disappeared into the void. So, I decided to quit while I am ahead and do Pierce McIntyre’s first. Paul Combs’s challenge will necessitate a bit more time and consideration as I have to select sixty films!

As it is the afterlife, I am setting one rule for the audience. No mobile phones. You don’t need a phone in the afterlife. It is a technological free zone where we can sit back and enjoy each other’s music choices. No apps, devices, or computers other than this one to finish my article before I hurl it into space and take the long walk up to my afterlife concerts. My concerts require full attention from these wonderful artists. After recently attending a Killers concert, I am getting incensed with people spending more time on their phones than actually watching the event. One lady in front of us was sitting down through most of the songs with her head deep into Google, Twitter, or whatever. Why buy a ticket when most of the time you are not even paying attention to the band? Live music…
