My Treasure Island With 8 Songs
I decided to take up this challenge from Alex Markham after reading his and Paul Combs brilliant articles below: -
It wasn’t until I sat down to choose my list that I realised how hard it was going to be to narrow it down to just eight songs. Like Paul Combs, I knew I was going to struggle with one Springsteen song but the rules are only one song from each artist.
As I imagined myself on a desert island songs started drifting through my mind. “Walking on Sunshine” was the first. I always assume a Desert Island is full of sun and palm trees. Knowing my luck, I would be stuck on an island near the artic; “Ice, Ice Baby”! Status Quo’s “Living On An Island” also entered my head.
