My Current Five Favourite Springsteen Videos

As a massive Bruce Springsteen fan who has been lucky to see him 18 times, I would so recommend his gigs to anyone who hasn’t seen him perform live. My first suggestion would be to get a copy of the recently released Legendary 1979 No Nukes DVD. This is when Springsteen hit 30, and it is everything you would want in a live performance. Fun, energetic and fantastic music. This is definitely Springsteen at his best, but even in his elder years he can still pack a massive punch!

For such a normal, laid back and seeminly quite shy person, he comes alive on stage. He was still dazzling the audience and giving everything out there the last time I saw him in 2016. I am so hoping that the E Street Band will tour either this year or next, so we can be treated to more magic. They certainly have a great album in Letter to You to tour with, and who knows, if he will have even more material when the band hit the road.

I have seen him perform solo at the Albert Hall, London for the Devils & Dust tour which was pure delight. I also went to a couple of his concerts when he was touring with a different band promoting the albums Lucky Town and Human Touch. Again brilliant, but in my humble opinion he does his best work with the band he has been with for most of his life. The band that he has written a lot of his music for. The mighty E Street Band.
