It’s 2023 and The Boss is coming
A story to celebrate the return of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band
Now that all the Christmas and New Year shenanigans are over, it is time to look forward to Bruce and the band touring this year. It has been such a long time since the last tour in 2016 not helped by a pandemic but the year has finally arrived. I am booked to see this magnificent man and his band five times this year. This is not meant as a brag as I know it has been so difficult and very costly to obtain tickets, but I decided to take money out of my retirement savings to pay for them.
If the last few years have taught us anything then it is to never know what is coming next and when the next tour is. Therefore, for someone who has provided so much inspiration to me over the years, I decided to make the most of it. My wife and I have not had a holiday away since 2018, so I have booked two short breaks to Amsterdam and Dusseldorf to coincide with Bruce’s concerts there. I am also seeing him three times in the UK and really looked forward to meeting up with fellow writer and Bruce fan Alex Markham for one of the gigs.
