Interesting read as ever Josh. I am certainly not an expert on Medium as I have only been contributing regularly for over a year. It took me a while to get used to highlighting but I think I get it now. I tend to highlight particular songs/artists I like or to back up a point on an article that I really agree with. As for publications/groups, I think you can create your own and invite people although personally I haven’t done any. The Ukraine one sounds good and your amazing stories deserve a niche of their own. I don’t know whether one already exists but a personal journey/experience one may be worth exploring.
