I think Lazenby will always be unfairly judged as Bond due to him only playing the part once. I thought he was fine in a very good film. I am sure I read somewhere that he upset the producers when he appeared slovenly at the premiere and that sealed his fate in not appearing again but it may have been down to box office takings and him not wanting to continue. Great tribute to a great film.
