My favorite ode to the series came in 2018 when the show Supernatural released an episode titled “Scoobynatural” (it’s episode 16 of season 13 if you want to check it out). In the episode, main characters Dean, Sam, and Castiel are sucked into a demon-possessed television and become animated characters who, along with the Scooby gang, investigate their way through a significantly scarier re-telling of the 1970 episode “A Night of Fright is No Delight.”
