Seven Things in Life I Just Don’t Get
For the majority of July, I have been sitting indoors watching the rain and slowly seething underneath as we watch our dismal UK summer slowly disappearing over the horizon. While folks in southern Europe and other countries have suffered in too much heat, we have had all the dross over here. You would have thought that nature could share the sun and heat around a bit. That way the UK could get some sun and the areas that are suffering gain a bit of relief but as we all know it doesn’t work like that.
I could say good riddance to it but as I value summers so highly I am holding on tight in case it takes pity on us in the early autumn. I will be writing an article on the summer season shortly.
This brooding has allowed my mind to wander on to things that annoy me or things in life that I just don’t get. Below is a list of seven things that makes me scratch my head. I have tried to intersperse the list with some songs loosely based on the subject to lighten our summer blues.
