I fully understand your contrary feelings about this Simon. I don’t even put the end bit of my articles to ask for any money because I am embarrassed to. But you are a first class author and it is your business. All businesses have to advertise their services so you shouldn’t worry. If you hadn’t promoted some of your great books on Medium I would never have known about them and missed out on some wonderful stories.
