Forgive Me Movie Lovers for I have Sinned!
As I am not Catholic, I have never been to confession. In fact, I have never been christened. My brother was but they never got around to me. I sometimes wonder why; until I look in the mirror and think, ok I get it! Perhaps I should still get christened even at my elder age but that is for another debate.
I have often wondered what it is like to go through this religious exercise. Does it work? Does it make you feel better? What is it like to sit in that box next to a heavenly figure separated by a curtain? You have to excuse me. I have only ever seen it in movies so I am not up to speed with exactly what goes on. Anyway, I have almost 60 years of confessions so that could take months.
I digress as I am only going to give you one confession. All you movie lovers will have to imagine you are behind the imaginary curtain while I confess something that has been on my conscious for some time.
As a movie lover, I love watching films. I will watch any film. There are some genres like Science Fiction and Fantasy that I am not a great fan of, but I would never let that deter me from watching a film of this nature especially if it is recommended.
So here comes my confession.
