Fantastic article Alex. I got the album last Friday and played it all the way through. There is nothing wrong with it and his voice is good but you made the exact point with the word But. You make some other great points here. I was asked my opinion of it by a friend the day after and I said it’s ok. I must be getting old but I am sure he has still got loads of his own material in the closet and would have preferred another E Street album.
