Fantastic article. I loved this film and have seen it a few times but not for a while now. Coming from the UK, I am not a baseball fan but for me it didn’t matter. It was the father thing that hit me as I have so many regrets with my father that I can no longer correct. So I didn’t read as much into the film as yourself but I am now eager to view it again to see if I can get another perspective on it. Thanks for sharing.
