Fabulous as ever Simon and another great credit to a masterpiece. I have to confess that the first time I watched this film it was on TV as I was young and my Dad told me to watch it. Yes it is difficult to choose between David Lean films but I would have to pip for Dr. Zhivago as that was on my list of films I keep watching in a previous article. But it is a close one.
