I am stealing the great Paul Combs’s title in respect of debunking. He has written a series of brilliant and informative articles relating to debunking various myths and inaccuracies about past historical events. Below is just one example of his uncovering the truth behind a myth of the American Civil War.

I tend to mostly write about music, film, television, and personal articles but I have always been fascinated by conspiracy theories.

I must first emphasise that I am not a conspiracist. In fact, in my early years, I tended to be rather naïve and not question anything. I was brought up in the 1960s watching many Westerns where cowboys always seemed to be portrayed as the heroes and the Indians were the enemies. I thought all leaders spoke the truth and that the West was good and the East was evil. Let’s not get into Putin at this point but as you grow older you become much wiser and more cynical.
