This article purely concerns the TV series and not the book which I have not read. If anyone has read the book and seen the series then I would be interested to know if they are remarkably different as if so I would be keen to read it.

I have also seen a few articles on Medium concerning Daisy Jones & the Six, so this article is not a full review of the series but a light-hearted evaluation between the fictional band and the real-life rock band. It does however contain spoilers.

The series was on my radar to watch but when I read about the connection with Fleetwood Mac, it instantly propelled itself to the top of my viewing list and my wife and I binged watched it recently.

Fleetwood Mac are probably my second favourite rock band behind the great Bruce Springsteen and the mighty E Street Band.

I have seen the band live five times and have also seen both Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham live on their respective solo tours. I have watched many documentaries and read various books about the band. As a result, you can understand my interest in the link between the two.

When I discuss Fleetwood Mac below I am talking about the Buckingham/Nicks era which is when I initially started…
