Beware of a Tiger in Your Year!

I am not one for horoscopes. I know some people take them very seriously but most of the time I think they are just for amusement or possibly a con. Each to their own though. My star sign is Virgo and whilst I can see some of my personality traits in the portrayal of a Virgo, I think you can bend the meaning of any of your characteristics or matters in your life with predictions in horoscopes. I remember a long time ago a certain newspaper was exposed for swapping around the same monthly predictions for different star signs. Sums it all up really.

I do have a sort of curiosity about my Chinese year. I am Year of the Tiger. I love tigers. However, I reckon the majority of the earth’s population love tigers. Therefore, there is no deep hidden significance or connection to being born in the year of the Tiger and the love for these beautiful and powerful beasts.

2022 is the Year of the Tiger. My year! What does that mean? Will something amazing happen? Will I suddenly come into a fortune? In essence, it means diddly squat and our lives are in no way affected by what year we were born.

Nevertheless, I deliberate too much which is sometimes a dangerous thing. It has always been my problem and a good reason for my insomnia.

This Chinese new year started in February. This was the month Putin invaded Ukraine, threatened…
