5 of the Most Beautiful Modern Songs ever Recorded
I was supping my glass of wine last weekend contemplating on Pierce McIntyre’s writing challenge of 5 Films/Songs that define me. A couple of songs came on to my playlist which took my thoughts off in another direction. I was also trying to take my feelings away from the world’s current problems and think of some of the beautiful things in this world.
As it is one of our greatest therapies, it is only right to reason that music is the one thing that makes us happy.
Below, and obviously in my humble opinion, are 5 of the most beautiful songs ever written. Like Paul Combs I am a bit of a Springsteen fanatic, so you will be surprised that there are no Boss songs on this list. Springsteen has written not only some iconic songs (“Born to Run”, “Thunder Road”) but many of my favourite songs. However, when I considered the list these are the 5 songs that come to mind.
